What personal information do we process?
We may obtain information about you in a variety of ways. The personal information relating to you that we process may include:

Contact Information: During registration, we collect and verify your phone number through SMS verification. We also collect your name (first and last), email address, and date of birth during the onboarding process. This information is stored on our secure servers to manage your account, schedule calls, and provide personalized services.

Location Information: We collect your ZIP code to determine your timezone for scheduling calls at appropriate times and to verify service eligibility (currently US-only). We also detect your country from your phone number. We do not collect precise location data or GPS coordinates.

Call Information: We collect call metadata including phone numbers, call duration and timestamps, call connection information, call status, and scheduling data necessary to provide the AI companion calling service. Call transcripts (text records of conversations) are stored on our servers for service improvement and quality monitoring.

Audio Data: We process audio data in real-time during calls through secure connections to enable natural AI conversations. This real-time processing is performed using third-party AI services (primarily Google AI, with OpenAI as an optional provider) that receive and process audio content for conversation, speech recognition, and natural language understanding. Raw audio recordings are not permanently stored, but text transcripts of conversations are retained on our servers for service improvement.

Identifiers and Technical Information: We collect and store unique user identifiers to manage your account and associate data with your profile. As a web-based service, we may collect standard web analytics information such as IP addresses and browser user agent strings. We also store your language preference and timezone information for scheduling purposes.

Subscription and Purchase Data: We track your subscription status, subscription tier, purchase history, payment transaction details (processed through Stripe), subscription renewal dates, trial eligibility, and transaction data for your account. This information is stored on our servers to manage your account access and billing.

Schedule and Preferences: We store your call schedule preferences including day of week, time of day, timezone, call frequency, and scheduling status. These preferences are synchronized between our web application and backend services to ensure consistent call delivery.

Usage Data and Interactions: We collect information about how you use the Service, including account creation dates, login activity, schedule modifications, subscription changes, and other interaction data. This helps us improve the Service and understand user behavior patterns.

Account Preferences and Settings: We store your account settings, notification preferences, call preferences, voice preferences (speaking pace, volume, preferred voice), and other user-controlled settings on our servers to maintain consistency and provide personalized service.
AI and Machine Learning Data: We process conversation content through third-party AI services (primarily Google's Gemini models, with OpenAI as an optional provider) for generating natural, engaging conversations in real-time. This processing includes sending audio streams and call metadata to these services during active calls. Call transcripts are stored on our servers for service improvement and quality monitoring. These AI services have their own privacy policies governing data handling.
